-           Originally a 6th round (176th pick overall) draft choice by the Oakland Raiders in 2006…Waived by the Raiders on Sept. 1, 2007…Signed by the Giants on Sept. 2, 2007

GIANTS NOTE:

-           Boothe, a Cornell alumnus, is 1 of 2 current Giants who played in the Ivy League. Linebacker Zak DeOssie was a star at Brown.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS:

-           Has played in 17 regular season games with 14 starts and in 4 postseason games…All but 1 of the regular season games and all of the starts were with the Raiders in 2006, when he started 14 games at right guard…Played in all 4 of the Giants postseason games on special teams.
-           Was inactive for 14 regular season games…Was active at Buffalo (12/23), but did not play.
-           As a rookie in 2006, he played in all 16 games, starting the final 14 contest at right guard…Helped the Raiders rush for 194 yards at Cleveland(10/1).
